By looking at this woodpecker’s eyes , it appears that it is in a state of shock , totally scared and wants some solace from intruders.
On a coconut tree, it regularly makes forays with joy and fierce calls, but not now.One can see the ‘salt & pepper’ type pattern on its forehead as well as chin very clearly.Its red crown is really nice to watch.
